The Social Network and Anonymous

Unfortunately Those Enemies Happen To Be Armed -_-
So I was looking up the Sony VS Anon War up today and I'll be commenting on it later, but it got me thinking about social stuff and since there is no creation of 4chan movie (which I'm sure would be entertaining beyond belief) I decided to watch that damn facebook movie people can't shut up about:

Alright I'm not gonna do this throughout the whole movie but the movie starts out with a dialogue between two very fast speaking individuals talking about the SAT now being a Canadian I never had to take the SAT so I also don't know what this "Final Club" is why is it so important to get into and do they have cookies? Cause if they fucking don't I heard from a pretty reliable source that the Dark Side does I don't give a fuck I'll go there (I would also like to mention that "Thirsty Scholar Pub" is a truly awesome name and I will be giving it to my first born son)

OH SNAP HE GOT STABBED IN THE STOMACH OH SHIT HOW IS FACEBOOK EVER GOING TO BE CREAT- no I'm just kidding it's gotten off to a really boring start

Ah now the facebook invite spam just started I remember my first invite to facebook it was from a girl I liked and it said "Emma wants to be friends..." I was like "...YAATTA " looking back over the years the only time I talked to her on it was to drunkenly tell her off, and the only time it came in handy was when I saw the picture of the child she had with some guy that was the size of the bear so I retract my yaatta

Alright another side note (this movie isn't exactly Deathnote guys give me a break XD) but it took 53 minutes for the first black guy to appear in this movie...that has to be considered at least a little racist, can we get that guy that wrote an essay about how Jinx from Pokemon is racist to write an essay about this?

Alright it's finally done, now with a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, and 4 Best Picture Awards from everybody and their mother's, I have a good feeling that I probably don't know what I'm talking about but in my honest opinion this movie sucked, the only emotion produced in this film is about just as superficial as facebook itself, and the film has such a monotone feel that it's just a giant invitation for stupid ass comments like "I liked the part where he created facebook..." while it is a remotely interesting story I have to go with the opinion that once again they chose the wrong media, instead of a movie this would have been way better as an autobiographical book because if I had to sum up "The Social Network" it would look like this:

Creator of Facebook: I'm going to create facebook!

Random Rich Twins: YOU STOLE OUR IDEA

Useless Ass Business Partner: YOU SCREWED ME OUT OF ALL THE NOT WORKING I DID

Whoever The Fuck Justin Timberlake Was Playing: A million dollar's isn't cool...you know whats cool...a billion dollars

And that's the entire fucking movie spread across two hours that I will never get back

But I digress the reason why I wanted to do this post combined with the Anon post is to make a point:

Now for those of you who don't know Anon and Sony have been at each others throats ever since sony sued somebody named Geohotz (forgot his real name -_-) for giving instructions on how to add Linux to PS3, which is apparently something the PS3 originally advertised it could do and then took out the feature in later firmwares, so Anon retaliated by hacking into PSN, which resulted in Sony taking down all of PSN to up their security, leaving a lot of angry people with no Call of Duty

Anon's getting a lot of hate for it but you know what I say good for you Anon standing up to big corporations like this is exactly what we need (now I obviously am not a part of Anon myself so I'm more or less unbiased) but before you send me hate mail listen to my point of view:

Anon is standing up for what they believe is right, they aren't gonna let themselves get pushed around by Sony like the rest of us do, we have certain Rights and we deserve them and if we keep letting these corps get away with this bullshittery we'll have nothing left (okay maybe that's an exaggeration but we'll have very little left)

Now my big connecting the dots with facebook, the Egyptian Revolution that happened recently (if you don't know about it get out from under your rock and read a newspaper once in awhile) was called the Facebook Revolution, something as seemingly superficial and useless as facebook was used for something good that changed the fate of an entire country, this proves technology can be a good thing and we'll prove to be instrumental in the fights ahead for our Rights, cause let's face it we're getting fucked left, right and centre, here's an example about it is the HST that came to Canada just this past year everyone fucking hates it but nobodies doing anything about it, and that's just one out of the many things we've stood idly by on, what Anon is doing is of so much importance even though some of the things their fighting against are a little petty in my opinion (in comparison with everything else) their getting legal action taken against them, and most importantly their winning (not like Charlie Sheen winning, I mean nobody can touch em) this will set an important precedent for when either Anon or another group of similar nature decides to tackle the issues with the environment, that so far no one has been able to deal with because these huge corporations are stopping us, I believe Anon's form of protesting will become greatly important in the global revolution that will come about, thank you Anonymous for the help and all you people complaining about PSN being taken down for like a week: int he words of Adam Sandler from the movie Grown Ups "GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY LIKE NORMAL KIDS"

(sorry this post is a little on the serious side if you want my usual meaningless drivel you can go to my "Job Hunting Rant" post I've gotten a lot of views on it, and as always we're coming back with the funny in the next blog post ^_^)
