Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu (and Sucker Punch)

So from just reading the description its about these kids that take a test which segregates them into different classes, the A class having super comfy chairs, and the F class not having chairs at all (I assume) then the F class apparently figures out how to use witchcraft to summon creatures? and so they attempt to uprise against the A class, since this is a comedy I only have two words to say.....oh yes...being 13 episodes this should give me just enough time to not study for my exams, I assume this is going to be a satirical view on the evils of the caste system in India....lawlz jk...

Episode 1:

I would like to make note of the opening song...MY GOODNESS THATS CATCHY O_O, it's like they played Teenage Dream by Katy Perry again

Hmm this anime is 5 minutes in and has already made me laugh...APPROVED O_O

YES HE MENTIONED THE CASTE SYSTEM I WIN

It get's pretty trippy when the battles happen and it seems I've misunderstood everyone has summons so its more like pokemon battles with grades

The ending them is pretty catchy to

In the end I'm going to enjoy watching this series

HOWEVER

Lucky for you bastards I just watched Sucker Punch and I have a fuck load to say about it

So to explain this it's kind of like a live action of the absolute most stereotypical animes ever to exist between the school girl outfit, katanas, guns, and enough panty shots for a man to die from bleeding of the nostrils, your like yup I definitely walked into the XXX store BESIDE the movie theatre, the only thing missing was the lack of nipples...like I'm not saying to get full frontal nudity into this mofo (although it would be appreciated now a days) I'm just saying get a slip in here and their, or let the scene be cold (if ya get what I mean) or something

Regardless though it was an interesting experience, playing on the theme that you already are equipped with what you need to solve your own problems, it took artistic to a whole new level that I suspect won't be appreciated for quite a while...or ever...I personally thought it was well done with a lot of risks taken and should be appreciated as such because hey...I'm sure Alice In Wonderland wasn't all popular back in the 1800's either...or at least not everybody got it

The other theme is "art is a necessary part of the human spirit and can and will SAVE YOUR LIFE"...this being taken to the most practical level...when you watch the movie you'll understand what I mean

This has a little bit of soul, a little bit of ecchi, a little bit of philosophy, and a lot of action to please all audiences

so in the end it's...alright like 6/10...I'd watch it again =D
